Mason Crane, ANU Ecologist, will lead a bird watching walk and talk around Wirraminna, highlighting our local bird species and discussing the impact of Indian Mynas moving into this area.
Gayle South, Local Landcare Facilitator from Ovens Landcare Network will share her experiences dealing with Indian Mynas and show us how we can monitor this pest.
Corowa District Landcare and West Hume Landcare will demonstrate their new Indian Myna Traps (which can be borrowed) and discuss Myna proofing nest boxes. There will also be information available on the DPI Weed Wise Program—No Space for Weeds.
