Baranduda Landcare’s Annual Community National Planet Ark Tree Planting Day is on again. This year we celebrate our 20th annual event! Everyone (parents and kids) are invited to join in the fun on 28 July 2019.
Follow signs off Boyes Rd & Baranduda Boulevard (refer to maps including detail on flyer below). Where possible bring 4WD or higher clearance 2WD vehicles (low clearance 2WD OK to park at nth end of Burgess Lane)
Arrive 9.30am on site: Nth (Middle Creek) end of Burgess Lane
• Park as directed – based on how wet conditions are on the day
• Allow 10 min. to walk to the 2019 meeting point.
• 10am (sharp) briefing on Middle Creek.
We’ll plant, stake and guard over 1,600 native seedlings on the morning.
A traditional post-planting free BBQ will follow on-site at 12.45pm. Hot cuppa/water, fruit & biscuits also provided.
This is a great way to meet local people and help enhance our local environment.
BYO: sturdy footwear, warm clothes and gloves, and your favorite planting tool.
We’ll be planting even if raining! Portable toilet will be on site.
BLCare will provide mini mattock, mallets & other tools for community use on the day.
