Meet at the Wooragee Hall 9am
Come and find out about the Wooragee Landcare Banksia project and have a Sunday morning walk in the bush with Jim Blackney, Fleur and Sue.
We’ll have an overview of the project and the Silver Banksia at the hall, a cuppa, then drive to Browns Rd (towards Chiltern) and look at the Banksias in the field.
Banksia marginata (Silver Banksia) is one of our interesting local plants that is loved by birds, and animals like gliders, because of its beautiful nectar bearing flowers.
Meet at 9.00 am
at Wooragee hall, and we’ll be finished by 12pm.
Wear clothes for the bush (covered in shoes, hat and preferably long pants.)
For more information call Sue on 0427 287 285 or
Fleur on 0427 282 377
